Kaci Pike

( Women's Volleyball )

                  Kaci Pike, the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Greensboro College in North Carolina is among the leading mind & body sport oriented coaching in the US college ranks. Her detailed mental and physical approach to coaching is reflective perfectly for the True Champion approach to sport instruction. The teaching/coaching method she presents has been honed through years of study, application and reflection. She is a native of West Grove, PA, with years of experience coaching at every rank of play from youth to elite college players, bringing a wealth of coaching experience for every age and performance levels.

             Kaci received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Guilford College in 2008 and completed her master's degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2012. Upon graduating from Guilford College, Kaci served as the Head Coach at Trinity High School in Trinity, North Carolina before serving as an assistant coach for the for two seasons at Guilford College. In addition she has served as a coach for both the Sportsplex Volleyball Club and Piedmont Volleyball Club.  

            Her playing career before turning to coaching is impressive. Playing at University Kaci was a two-time captain and three-year starting libero.  She earned honorable mention All-ODAC in 2006 and won Guilford's 2005 Best Defensive Player Award. She graduated from Guilford College ranked fourth in school history with a .948 serve percentage. Kaci also stood seventh among Guilford's career digs leaders with 903 pickups in 75 matches. She was a 2006-07 Academic All-ODAC selection and three-time member of Guilford's Student Athlete Honor Roll.  Kaci also received the Nereus C. English Award from Guilford College in 2008, which is the highest athletic award given out each year.
